Park and meet the Land Trust group ACROSS the street at the UMass Field Station, 240 Beaver Street. We may be in time to see the spring ephemerals in bloom. Walk is suitable for children and they are most welcome to participate! Saturday, June 3rd, 9 AM - Turtle Walk along the Central Division Rail Line in Weston to Look for Turtle Nests. An added feature nearby is an old cranberry bog with pitcher plants in bloom. Meeting in front of Weston Town Hall (one block north from first light west of I-95 on Route 20). Waltham Walks! is a free community event that promotes walking for good health. The goal is to engage community members to walk while promoting a walk-friendly Waltham.
