Please Join Us For One or More of the Upcoming Waltham Land Trust Events
Saturday, May 20th, 2 PM - Walk at the Girl Scouts Cedar Hill Campus, 265
Beaver Street. Park and meet the Land Trust group ACROSS the street at the
UMass Field Station, 240 Beaver Street. We may be in time to see the spring
ephemerals in bloom. Walk is suitable for children and they are most
welcome to participate!
Saturday, June 3rd, 9 AM - Turtle Walk along the Central Division Rail Line
in Weston to Look for Turtle Nests. An added feature nearby is an old
cranberry bog with pitcher plants in bloom. Meeting in front of Weston Town
Hall (one block north from first light west of I-95 on Route 20). Contact

June 4, 2006 12-2 PM - 2 nd Annual Waltham Walks! Waltham Walks! is a free
community event that promotes walking for good health. The goal is to engage
community members to walk while promoting a walk-friendly Waltham. If you
would like to walk with other Waltham Land Trust members, please contact
Karen Patterson at 781.893.3355 or kpatters at walthamlandtrust.org to arrange
a meeting place on the Common. The walk will begin at the Waltham Common,
Main Street. An accessible 1.8 mile loop. No rain date. Walk rain or shine.
Wear Sneakers. No bicycles or skateboards, please. Pets on leashes are ok.
