Tour begins at the Lyman Estate (185 Lyman St) and ends about 5:30 at Stonehurst, with light refreshments. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Join the Land Trust for a look at the land from the water. We will depart from the Woerd Avenue Boat Launch. The focus of Mr. Hellmund's work is on design, research, practice, and teaching to improve the relationship between people and nature, especially in urban, suburban, and degraded landscapes. Also! The Community Preservation Coalition will present an overview of the way CPA and CPC works in other communities for the benefit of the Waltham CPC and public.
